is endlessly annoying to me, infuriating. Usually I encounter it in rebels whose lives run directly counter to God’s revealed will. And God’s supposed incapacity for communication has become a handy dodge for them.
The other day on my lunch break I was looking up passages where the heavenly ministry of Jesus is mentioned, in anticipation of Ascension Day. And when I’m at work I just google the passages I’m looking for, because it’s quicker. For whatever reason, when I looked up Hebrews 7, the trillion dollar algorithm brought the ‘The Message’ to me, which says that Jesus is “always on the job to speak up for them.” So, ipso facto, Jesus is the guy that never clocks out, lol.
