Josiah shares his deep knowledge of the field andthe results of his academic work, using AI to test (and confirm) Pauline authorship of the full corpus of the letters attributed to him. Meanwhile we pepper him with questions. Can AI ever acheive self-consciousness? How can human beings use these machines without losing our capacity for research, discovery, and critical thinking? Then, of course, there is that Hideous Strength to worry about. Even if AI cannot become self-conscious, how might AI be manipulated by demonic powers to bind and enslave human beings and how can Christians guard against such things?
