Super late today because all the parents (mine and Matt’s) had to get on the road to travel far and wide to various parts, and then there was the children’s school work, and then there was the driving of everyone everywhere, and now it is snowing. I thought I would be able to fit this bit of immortal prose in between other things but that turned out to be a gross miscalculation. So anyway, here I am now. I hope I may be forgiven for succumbing to the usual travails of life.
On the plus side of the equation, I snatched a few moments yesterday to sit down and finish Scot* McKnight’s The Bible is Not Enough: Imagination and Making Peace in the Modern World. As I’ve said numerous times, it was very short, so if you wanted to read it, it wouldn’t take you very long. However, it will cost you $19.95 for the beautiful hardback version. I am going to write an official review so I don’t want to give away the game, but I did have a few quick impressions that I would like to sketch out here before getting down to the real task.
