Monday Livestream: Empathy and Heresy Edition

Sorry I forgot to get this out on Monday! Be forgetting my own name next. This week Matt and I talk about David French’s interview with Ally Beth Stucky, why it is so hard for him and others to see the difference between good empathy and the other kind, and then why transing young people, murdering babies, and wrecking a marriage are worse things than other people who support such things thinking bad things about you. Then we shift gears and talk about exvangelical Andrew Springer’s article in which he argues that Paul made up Christianity and that it’s nothing like what Jesus taught because Jesus “was” a cool gramscian communist revolutionary focused on all the things Andrew Springer likes while Paul, of whom Andrew Springer doesn’t approve, focused on irrelevant things like sin and death and the cross and justification and forgiveness eternal life.
