Four Books and a lot of Packing
In which I try to shove all our stuff in our bags and write a book review at the same time.
Rearranging all the stuff in our suitcases and trying to think if I can leave anything behind. As usual, even though I gave myself ample room to take back both presents and books—my parents are slowly transferring their library from one continent to another, suitcase by suitcase—I am still cramming in bit and pieces and having to sit on the tops to be able to close them. Ah Well.
Because my mind is going in a thousand different directions, as a special treat, I thought I would scatter abroad the accumulation of thoughts about what I’ve been reading, before I climb on the plane, as it were. Basically, I’m working through four books—Discovering Biblical Equality, Beautiful Union, She Deserves Better, and Feminism Against Progress—all with their own peculiar bent on this Current Moment TM.
