This is what AI generated when I typed in “Sociologist:”

sociologist

I found something super fun on Wednesday, shortly after posting my long thing about how if you left women alone they might not prefer that which the Diversity Equity and Inclusion cabal chose for them. Someone named Jess Calarco glanced around at the wide world and discovered all the men are total sexists. I tweeted this after perusing her long and delightful thread

Remember how all evangelicals who voted for Mr. Trump in 2016 were thereby deemed "racist?" Second verse same as the first--young men under thirty "are growing more sexist" witness their support of Mr. Trump.

and in response she blocked me. But honestly, I feel like she should have paused for a hot second. She seems nice. We could have been friends. She thinks about a lot of stuff that I think about, and notices all the same problems, but then what she thinks we should do about it seems to me as completely useless as everything that is currently being tried.

Because it’s Friday, I thought it would be propitious to go through her tweet thread which I laboriously cut and pasted here by the providence of God, not knowing I would be cut off from ever seeing anything she had posted ever again. Let’s dive in, shall we?

There's a growing gender divide in politics, and it's being driven by young men's movement to the Right. In 2020, most men under 30 voted Biden. Now, most support Trump. Why? It's partly that young men are growing more sexist, but there are also bigger forces involved

I went over and watched a video of Dr. Calarco, expecting to encounter a venomous herridan. Instead, I found a slight woman with great hair, a person both pleasant and articulate. In the background, there is a pleasing arrangement of color-coded books. It’s only when you get into the substance of the conversation that you discover someone almost unbearably naive, foolish, and, I hate to say it, a little bit silly. On the whole, I hate to chuck something like “academia” under the bus chiefly because I love the university world. I believe in higher education. I think even women should be taught to read and write—preferably Greek and Latin, though I guess English is ok too.

But every now and then I come across this sort of mid-wittery and I can’t help but smh (shake my head for those of you, like me, are old). Under what conditions could someone say something like this—that “younger men are growing more sexist?” Let’s go on because maybe she’ll let us know:
