It’s Friday! How bout some super quick takes?

We’re about to sally forth on our month of vacation, which means that I have way more work than usual, trying to wrap things up before the lovely rest we most certainly will be having. I will probably take a few days off, here and there, from blogging, but I’m not going to quit because I feel like I have a lot of stuff roiling around in the back of my mind and a lot of books to read, and I won’t just want to say literally nothing. But at least on Wednesday, while we’re traveling, I won’t be waking up in the very middle of the night to post because that would be madness.

Years ago, I blogged about traveling with six small kids and it was shared around a lot. I had some great advice, like the shoe bag, and the rule against Pink Milk. Now that everyone is adult-sized, I have no idea how it’s going to go. We are in a protracted argument about whether to take one car or two. I think the idea of driving with eight people in one regular-sized mini-van sounds like Sheol, but Matt thinks it will be, to quote him, “great because of the price of gas.” No idea which side will win. Place your bets now.
